Help shape Ireland’s new Diaspora Strategy by sharing your views and experiences in the Global Irish Survey. In order to understand the issues of importance to Irish communities overseas, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade want to hear from as many members of the diaspora as possible so the new strategy meets needs and can adapt to evolving circumstances. The novel follows reclusive Sally, who causes outrage when she tries to incinerate her father’s body. Thrust into the media spotlight, she begins recalling repressed childhood horrors and steps into the world for the first time, making new friends, big decisions, and learning that people don’t always mean what they say.
