This year marks the 300th anniversary of the publication of Irish writer Jonathan Swift’s literary masterpiece, Gulliver’s Travels. To celebrate this milestone in Irish literary history, the Consulate General of Ireland, Vancouver will discuss the unabridged novel at its next Book Club on Thursday, August 27th.
The story follows Lemuel Gulliver, a surgeon and sea captain, on extraordinary voyages to a series of distant and fantastical lands.
The Consulate’s lending library also has a small number of copies available on a first come, first served basis. All attendees must register here in advance. Places are limited, so be sure to register early!
