A massive thank you to everyone who signed up to the Irish in BC Partners for Life Team!
Since April 27th, 75 people have joined the team, with 25 donations made and many more appointments booked! There is a constant need for blood donations in British Columbia, more so now after the attack on April 26th at the Filipino Lapu Lapu Day event in Vancouver.
In order to keep up with rising patient needs, Canadian Blood Services are calling on people across the country to be one of the 450 new donors needed every day.
Irish in BC are coming together as a community and show our solidarity with the Filipino community and all those affected by this tragedy. We’re inviting Irish Canadians and friends to sign up for a blood donation through Canadian Blood Services to help fuel Canada’s Lifeline.
