Introducing the Irish Families Hiking Club!
This exciting initiative is all about getting together once a month to explore the beauty of nature with budding hikers. Whether you’re a seasoned trekker or just starting out, everyone is welcome to join in on the adventure!
Irish Families Hiking Club will be exploring a variety of hikes in breathtaking locations such as the North Shore, Golden Ears Park, Belcarra Regional Park and many more.
So lace up your hiking boots and join their supportive and welcoming group.

When: Apr 14, 2024, 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Where: Belcarra Regional Park
Meeting Spot: Parking lot off Bedwell Bay Road
Difficulty: Intermediate
Length: 5.5 km round-trip
Elevation Gain: 100 meters
Dog friendly: On-Leash
Highlights: relaxing and secluded beach, forest
Suitable for: families with children aged 5 and up who can hike uphill and downhill for a couple of hours, mix of scramble, stairs and flat sections, babies in carriers
Schedule: Hike to beach, 30 minutes for rest and snack, hike back
