Seachtain na Gaeilge – March 1st – 17th

Seachtain na Gaeilge runs for over two weeks, from March 1st – 17th.

Are you located in Vancouver and Victoria? There are a number of upcoming events and community groups where you can meet new people and brush up on your cúpla focal!

An bhfuil tú lonnaithe i Vancouver agus Victoria? Tá roinnt imeachtaí agus grúpaí pobail ag teacht aníos áit ar féidir leat bualadh le daoine nua agus do chúpla focal a scuabadh suas!

Ciorcal Comhrá Vancouver meet up bi-weekly on Mondays at either the Consulate General of Ireland, Downtown Vancouver or at Trees Coffee on Joyce Street.

Pop up Gaeltacht monthly meetings.
Join them for fun, chat and a few pints!
This is open to everyone, it doesn’t matter what level of Irish you have.

Want some lessons before dipping your toe into conversation meet-ups? Why not check out Vancouver’s newest Irish language school?

Irish Language Vancouver is a newly founded language school in BC, started by Felix Ó Murchadha, a native Irish speaker from Co. Galway, Ireland.
They offer five week in-person and online beginner friendly classes for children, teenagers and adults.

Irish With Mollie
offers free beginner-friendly workshops to get you comfortable with starting to learn Irish. Their next workshop is Thursday, March 6th at 12pm (PST).
If you can’t attend, you can still register and receive a replay of the workshop via email.
